Sorry for not posting guys... been kinda busy lately.
Anyway, what I've been doing for the past few days is trying to develop a competitive Zero-G counter to Dragooon F230CF/GCF. So far, hasn't gone well. Left-spin stamina can't beat it, Left-spin sway attack can't beat it, and nothing right-spin without F230 can beat it (yet). I'm in a fix here...
The one thing I had success with was Scythe... the free-spinning PC frame on the top actually prevented Dragooon from stealing spin at lower spin velocity for the most part, and Scythe B : D actually went 8-0 against it. I then tried several other stamina setups, and, although I didn't believe it at first, TB on SA165 did extremely well, avoiding spin-equalization near the end and then circling Dragooon after it had toppled, and barely out-spinning. It worked even better with 160!
However, disappointment was right around the corner... I take apart my orange F230s and give them a rinse to make up for the abusive testing I had been shoving on them for the last week. After that, Scythe didn't stand a chance. If your F230 isn't as free as a bearing, then Scythe B : D/160TB will actually work quite well. However, the F230 I'm concerned with beating next weekend is no regular old F230, so I've gotta find something new...
